My approach is client-focused, strengths-based and trauma-informed, working with you in your environment. I take the time to understand each person’s individual circumstances, experiences and goals, working alongside them to identify practical strategies and pathways forward.

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, solution-focused practice and crisis intervention. My focus is on creating a safe, respectful and non-judgemental environment where people feel heard, understood and supported.

 With more than 30 years’ experience working with individuals through a wide range of complex and challenging circumstances, I bring extensive professional knowledge and real-world experience to my practice.

These experiences have provided me with a broad understanding of mental health, substance use, anxiety and depression, anger management, domestic and family violence, and the challenges faced by individuals and families involved with the justice and child protection systems.

I am an accredited Counsellor and Forensic Social Worker, and a registered Counselling Supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association.

I provide professional supervision for counsellors, social workers and professionals working within forensic settings, with a focus on reflective practice, professional development and supporting practitioners in their roles.

Forensic Social Work
I provide forensic social work services to legal representatives, including Social Assessment Reports and Family Reports for Family Law and Child Safety matters. Where required, I travel throughout Queensland and New South Wales to conduct face-to-face interviews and assessments.

Forensic Supervision
Professional and forensic supervision is available for forensic clinicians, supporting practitioners to reflect on their practice, manage complex cases and maintain professional standards.
